I’ll tell you why PMP Certification is best…

No question about it, the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam is challenging. You need a good teacher, commitment, time, and effort to attain it.

You wouldn’t want it any other way, would you?

PMP is the pre-eminent certification in project management. Getting your PMP certification will enhance your career opportunities in your current and future positions.

In addition, studying for the PMP exam really helps you understand project management principles – you will become a better project manager after studying and passing your PMP Exam.

Deciding to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam is a big step in moving forward in your profession.

Project Management Professional (PMP)

The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Which has more than 500,000 members worldwide.

Survey evidence has shown that a job candidate in possession of the PMP certification will get you to the interview step of a project management position.

PMI offers several credentials, and the PMP certification is the most well-known by far. in fact, the PMP is the most widely recognized project management certification in the world, and there are more than 750,000 certified PMP’s around the globe.

The PMP Certification credentialing program is designed to ensure competence and professionalism in the field of project management.

The PMI and PMP Partnership

Interestingly, the latest PMI survey showed that the longer the PMP credential is held, the higher the salary.

The Prestigious PMP Certification

Why Pmp Certification Is Best Academy

You may be considering studying for a University degree in project management, quite a sensible decision. However, the survey showed that such project managers still learn far less than the holder of a PMP certification

PMI has created numerous PMI chapters around the world who hold monthly meetings to both promote project management networking and provide project management standards.

Adding this certification to your resume is important in the growing and competitive field of project management. A PMP certification gives employers confidence that existing employees have the level of knowledge to do their jobs well.

It also gives employers a yardstick with which to measure new hires, so your project stakeholders can have confidence in your proven knowledge and experience when you have a PMP credential.

Bottom Line: With a PMP certification, you have more opportunities on your career path.

THE Certification for all project managers

Project managers come in all shapes and sizes!

So, while many project managers have been running their projects for several years, some of these have formal training and some do not.

Either way, project managers quickly pick up, often via their peers or bosses, that gaining a professional project management certification will provide them with powerful career and remuneration benefits.

Put simply this certification opens doors and provides you with a fast track path to a better career

Be clear, attaining PMP certification allows you to join the ranks of your peers while adding a prestigious designation to your name. Just think of the gratification you will feel after becoming PMP certified and gaining membership of the prestigious PMP community.

Don’t take my word for it, these figures are taken straight from the PMI 2020 salary survey.

Take the USA for example, a PMP Certification will earn you up to $111,000 per year – not bad eh?

In the post-COVID world, there is an even a bigger demand for competent project managers, and organizations are finding it challenging to seek out and recruit PMP certified project managers.

Bottom Line. Demand is outstripping the supply chain of project management talent, so get yourself a well paid satisfying PMP professional career – and never ever worry about being unemployed again for the rest of your working life!

The latest PMI 2020 Survey and Report

PMI has published a 2020 report Earning Power: Project Management Salary Survey, Eleventh Edition

This report provided comprehensive key data from 32,000 respondents in 42 countries.

This provided a greater awareness of how skill levels, knowledge and experience, and certifications positively impact salaries giving practitioners considerably enhanced earning power in today’s dynamic job market.

The survey unearthed sound evidence proving that respondents with a PMP certification earned 22% higher salaries across all of the 42 countries that were surveyed.

The survey also showed that 72% of respondents stated their total compensation including salary, increased over the 12 months prior to completing the salary survey.

This is clear evidence of an exciting trend for project management salaries – they are constantly being increased!

PMI states that the PMP credential “Demonstrates to employers, clients and colleagues that a project manager possesses project management knowledge, experience and skills to bring projects to a successful completion”

Think of this from your perspective. What if you were a hiring manager?

Given the choice of a job candidate with PMP certification and one without, which would you chose?

Remember, as a minimum, the PMP credential demonstrates a level of commitment to the project management profession while providing and promoting a common vocabulary.

Put simply, there are several good reasons for you to get the PMP certification.
