The new Edition has improved cross-referencing between elements, for example, you will be able to see how a particular Practice (Theme) aligns with each of the seven principles.
Getting PRINCE2 Certified: What’s the Drill?

For students who wish to continue to prepare for the existing PRINCE2 6th Edition – You have until the end of 2024 to prepare and take that exam.
The exam format remains similar to the current versions. PRINCE2 Foundation 60 minutes 60 questions Multiple choice 60% pass mark PRINCE2 Practitioner: 150 minutes 68 questions Multiple choice 60% pass mark.
PRINCE2 Exam Scenarios
Example scenarios have been added – and revised.
You now have four example scenarios that are used. You will have four different organizations- fictional but realistic in their work, each with an accompanying project. Each exam will use one of the four example scenarios already in the book instead of having a new scenario for an exam.
Sample papers will be developed for each exam. the only scenario candidates will need for the exam is in chapter one, so it is not necessary to have read each example of the scenario throughout the whole book.
These examples illustrate the concepts and ideas throughout the People and Practice chapters.

While the essence remains the same, the content is more streamlined and easier to digest. It’s like your favourite book, but now with fewer pages and more punchlines!
PRINCE2 Process names remain the same, and the relationships between the processes remain similar.
The look and feel of the process chapters have been updated to make the content more accessible by having the same elements in the same order.
Each activity in each process had a diagram, which had been removed due to their limited use. The Process activities are now expressed in a table with accompanying text

Remember the old Change Theme? Change is still front and centre, without muddying the water concerning issues. Project changes, whether requests for change or off-specifications, were always a form of issue management.
