FAQ – Is Agile DSDM different from PMI-ACP? 

How is Agile DSDM different from PMI-ACP or Disciplined Agile that PMI seems to be promoting?

DSDM was one of the original agile methods, and has been superseded by many other methods. It was never in any way to be a replacement for PMI-ACP which looks (much like the latest PMP Syllabus), at many different agile methods or frameworks.

Also, DA is the new kid on the block for PMI (in fact, they have bought it – so keep an eye out for future PMI developments. Just for the record, we at Projex Academy, already have a DA training course in the pipeline which will be available in the summer to our membership!
