I’ll NEVER retake my PRINCE2 Foundation

Or at least that is what I thought!

See, I’ve been teaching PRINCE2 as an Accredited PRINCE2 Practitioner since 1998. I’ve even taught some of the contributor’s to the Official PRINCE2 Manual.

I recently had to retake my PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam (which is quite normal and expected)… but …

PeopleCert advised me that my original PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate (written on parchment!), is no longer valid.

How The Mighty Are Fallen

PeopleCert, quite correctly reminded me that the ONLY valid PRINCE2 Practitioner certificates are:

PRINCE2 Foundation, 5 edition
PRINCE2 Foundation, 6 edition
Ouch!

No biggie, but it looks like I’ll have to dust off my school-cap and sit my PRINCE2 Foundation Exam – it’ll be like shaking hands with an old friend!

I’ll bring an apple for the Remote Proctor too …
