Identify The Project CTQ (critical to quality)
This is a measure of success for the project, and there is usually only one CTQ metric for DMAIC projects.
The CTQ may be a measure of efficiency or effectiveness and is a key performance indicator for voice of the customer or voice of business.

Lean6sigma Customer Critical to Quality CTQ
The CTQ must be measurable and this performance, either as an indicator, or data showing accurate current performance is included within the project charter.
The project charter and CTQ are normally developed in parallel, as they mark the formal kick-off of the project, and team member induction.
