The Amazing Bullworker Story

If you are interested in Body Building you may have used a chest expander, resistance bands or exercise bands at one time or another.

Isometric Contraction

A contraction in which a muscle exerts force but does not change in length. Isometric contractions are common in activities such as yoga, Pilates and stretching.

Isometric Contraction - Muscle Actively Held at a Fixed Length

A third type of muscle contraction, isometric contraction, is one in which the muscle is activated, but instead of being allowed to lengthen or shorten, it is held at a constant length.

An example of an isometric contraction would be carrying an object in front of you. The weight of the object would be pulling downward, but your hands and arms would be opposing the motion with equal force going upwards. How the Bullworker develops the three basic types of body
